The management of the Karume Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) invites as applications from suitably qualified applicants for admissions into variousĀ KIST Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, Certificate, Degree, Bachelors, Distance Education, International Students, Short Course, and othersĀ programsĀ in this notable institution for the 2020/2021 academic year.

KIST admission application form 2020/2021 is open to all interested applicants irrespective of colour, race, ethnic identity, religion, gender or national origin.

Both Indigenes and non-indigenes interested applicants can apply for theĀ KISTĀ Admission 2020/2021Ā as Government Sponsored or Private candidates.

Fees and other Financial Requirements

Government sponsored students contribution

  1. Admission becomes effective only on full payment of the required fees
  2. Fees may be paid direct to the Bank account: Peopleā€™s Bank of Zanzibar Ltd.(PBZ), Account name: Karume Institute of Science and Technology;Ā Account No. 021 103 000 632.

    At least 75% of the total fees to be paid in advance and the remaining should be paid before the 2nd Semesterā€™s examinations starts; Under any circumstances fees once paid, in full or in instalment will not be refunded;

    A student can register academic year to a specific module or modules at the half tuition fees. Other fees will remain for all students

  3. Candidates must obtain and safely keep the official receipts of all payments and produce them when required by the office for any verification.
