The holder of this position shall be based in the Tanzania branch office.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy:

Ā· Develop and execute Business strategic plans

Ā· Management of Tanzania business budget incorporating continuous review of resources and strategic plans into forecasts/reviews

Ā· Formulate and implement plans to introduce new company products into the market as outlined in the Strategic business direction.

 

Marketing

Ā· To achieve set business targets (Sell in, sell out targets) based on the business plan

Ā· To ensure increase in market share and (Volume and Value) targets and that Samsungā€™s competitive advantage is maintained;

Ā· Ensure application of SEC best practices in the management of the TZ https://w

etermine areas that need improvement Operations ManagementĀ· Responsible for distributors, channel and Field Force teamsā€™ relationship management e.g. MOUā€™s, Master Dealerā€™s pricing, SCM (orde

ring to aging revenue management), SFMT (FSSā€™s and SRRā€™s).Ā· Provide oversigh

t and leadership of channel business partners conferences;Ā· Provide

oversight and leadership of all business unit operations;Ā· Provide market intelligence reports with regards to trends, be

nchmarking, competitor comparison and A.P.I measurements; Ā· Provide oversight and leadership on process and systems improveme

nt to enhance quality and efficiency within the business; Ā· Prepare periodic (weekly

, monthly, quarterly etc.) management and ad hoc reports. Ā· Oversees the financial function of the business and ensures that controls are in place to enhance accountability and alignment with buiness strategies

including managing debt recoveries (AR). People ManagementĀ· Identify, discuss and agree clear performance objectives or standards for all direct reports and business partners while monitoring and reviewing their performance to ensure effective performance against the agreed objectives or standards.Ā· Provide strategic direction to

the team to ensure delivery of broad business objectives. Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports as well as coaching. Assist in recruitment, retention and developing high caliber staff

. Knowledge; Skills and Experience required for this Role Ā· A Bachelorā€™s Degree or equivalent in Business/Marketing from a reputable in stitutionĀ· Possession of an MBA will be an added advantageĀ· Minimum 10 yearsā€™ experience in Technology/

FMCG OR related fields and Channel Management environment.Ā· Minimum 5 yearsā€™ experience in leadership/management responsibility with the demonstrable ability to grow the skill and competence of the teamĀ· Proven experience in developing

structured and cost-effective brand development strategiesĀ· Demonstrated experience in strategy development and execution exceeding company growth and marketing objectives.Ā· Ability to lead process improvements resulting in improved service delivery, exploitation

on of technology and enhanced customer/end-user experience, Ā· Proven experience in distribution management, motivating partners to double the efforts to improve business within the assigned region.
